31. Bad Teacher

Bad Teacher, starring Cameron Diaz simply isn’t worth your time.  Most of the funny moments are included within the preview and the film has absolutely no depth or direction.  After Diaz is dumped by her wealthy fiancé, she must return to teaching 7th grade, and decides that the only way she can find a suitable (rich) husband is to buy breast implants.  Intriguing, I know.  The film ambles and misfires while she tries to score with a substitute teacher (played by Justin Timberlake) who is the heir to a watch company as well as dodge a pesky and annoying teacher (Lucy Punch) who is out to expose her as the total flake and fraud that she is.  Jason Segal is mildly amusing but grossly under utilized.  Transformers 3 is probably equal punishment, but I’d go see it instead this holiday weekend.  Avoid at all cost.

The survey says…1.5 stars out of 5

…yes! worse than The Human Centipede! if only for totally underachieving with such talent…
