One of the few big Twin Peaks filming sites that really gave me some trouble was Dead Dog Farm. According to a friend who had visited the location frequently in the past, it was torn down in approximately 2002 and up until 2006 or so, the tree that held the “For Sale” sign was still there. After a frustrating afternoon last summer and coming up with nothing, I ventured back to the area with my friend last October.
We drove right upon the site but everything had been bulldozed to hell and back, with absolutely no reference points to photograph, aside from the telephone line behind Cooper. Although I doubt there are many fans that would even care enough to haul ass to Sylmar and find this place (or those that simply may never have the chance), I will warn you there will be absolutely nothing to see.
Also of note, the scene with Little Nicky and Dick Tremayne’s flat tire was also shot right in this area. I drove all around with screenshots in hand and must deduce that the house/area was also torn down as well.

Also, if you made it this far you are a huge Twin Peaks freak like me, I must commend you…
