Twin Peaks – Lower Franklin Canyon

While the lower part of Franklin Canyon isn’t quite as thrilling as the Upper part, you should still check it out since you’re in the area.

You’ll first recognize the “owl pipe” seen at the end of Episode 16.  You’d actually have to traverse down into a little ravine of tall grass to get the matching screenshot.  As I prepared my plunge, my then-girlfriend suggested “there could be snakes” which I shrugged off.  I got poison ivy instead.

Further down the road you’ll find Nadine’s field from Episode 17 where the ill-fated “corkscrew” scene takes place.
