Twin Peaks – Jacques Renault’s Cabin

One of the most intriguing Twin Peaks filming sites for me is Jacques Renault’s cabin. It is buried deep within the Angeles National Forest, and I was fortunate enough to visit it in the summer of 2010.  I was really worried that the Great Station Fire had burned down the cabin as wildfires had run rampant in the months prior.  Aside from some charred trees and lots of ash, the cabin is still with us but is not apparently maintained by anyone except for a few partiers.

The cabin is in indeed a peculiar area with alot of strange things surrounding it.  It is without a doubt the “lost city of Atlantis” of Twin Peaks locations.

Sadly, Twin Peaks did not return to the cabin for filming during Fire Walk With Me.  Shame, shame-it would have been a much better location to use!
extra special thanks to my friend Jimmy for helping me find this location.
