anything is better than nothing

ok. thanks to the hard work of my friend charles over at i was able to finally see a filming site that had eluded probably most (if not all) TP fans until recently. here lies the Twin Peaks state penitentiary. (which is used in the show for approximately 3 seconds) unfortunately it is the Monroe Corrections Complex situated in Monroe, Washington and they have a big fat sign that says ‘no unauthorized photography’.
sooo….here is the shot my cohort and i got of the prison. it isnt much, but its basically unchanged since the show aside from a new building on the side. unless any of you have balls made of brass, i would recommend using a hardcore zoom from across the street to get the right shot. given that the prison is up on a big hill the correct shot may be impossible. i am not sure. i was nervous and paranoid and afraid to stick a camera out the window, but if you’re a nerd like me you might want to take a look. especially if you made it to the end of this paragraph.
