Tucked away in an anonymous Southern California hollar (as I like to call it) is the filming location used for Harold Smith’s house as well as the Tremond residence. The two houses are actually owned by the same person who lived there during filming in 1990. Lost in the excitement, I forgot to confirm if the Episode 9 interiors for the Tremonds were also filmed there as I have been told in the past-so we’ll assume so for now.
The front of Harold Smith’s house was also used as the Briggs Residence exterior in a deleted scene-but I’m glad it was axed as the Washington location fits the family much better. The homeowner said she had a bunch of pictures she took during filming but has no idea where they are. She has my contact information so maybe someday a lost Twin Peaks treasure shall be discovered. She also mentioned that Lynch and Company caused thousands of dollars of damage to her backyard and was never compensated for the lost. Tsk tsk!!
