One of my all time favorite location outings was visiting the Fat Trout Trailer Park from Twin Peaks – Fire Walk With Me with my wife and my friend charles from intwinpeaks.com.
The trailer park was demolished in early 2011, but luckily we visited in January of 2010 when everything was still in tact. I had visited the trailer park once before but was very hesitant ever since the residents were not too fond of Twin Peaks fans after the ’6′ was stolen a few years ago.
Most of the trailers had not been moved an inch in 20 years.

Nevertheless, we tiptoed in the park, took some pictures and soaked it all in. It wouldn’t have been out of the question to be approached by a Carl Rodd look-a-like, so we moved quick.
As we made our way out, our eyes lit up as we noticed a car that looked almost exactly like Chester Desmond’s! T’was a Ford, not a Chevy, but it must have been a sign…
Alas-it’s pretty sad the trailer park is now gone, but I hope you enjoyed this final look at ol’ Fat Trout. Rest in peace!
